    72 players participated in the 2010 NYSPHSAA Girls Golf State Championship.  This was Section VI’s fourth year participating.  While we finished in last place again this year it should not be construed as a disappointing finish.  We continue to improve our overall team play as evidenced by our best player finishing in 30th place this year while last year we had our best player finish in 8th place.  It should also be noted that every Section with the exception of Section VI has players from private schools representing their Section.
