Coaching Highlights & Achievements
Southwestern High School, Jamestown, NY
- Coached Cross Country for 42 years and several other sports over his 45 year teaching career
- Won over 400 duals and tri's in cross country
- Earned multiple league and Sectional titles
- Coached 28 different runners that qualified for 47 NYSPHSAA State meets
- Coached Brian Hull, a 2x state champion in 1973-74 and 2015 Inductee into the Section VI HOF
Professional Affiliations and Achievements
- Certified Cross Country and Track & Field Official for 37 years
- Only the 4th official ever to receive all three NYS Track Official of the Year Awards
- Has officiated three US Olympic Trials, numerous NCAA Championships, several IAAF World Games, World University Games and several USATF indoor and outdoor championships. In addition he has worked in the Big East, Big 10 and PSAC Conference.
- Served as the Western Zone Rep to the NYS AAHPERD
- President of the Chautauqua County Athletic Association
- Inducted into Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame
- Inducted into high school's HOF in North East, PA in September.
