• Top rusher in WNY with 1,198 yards on 181 carries for a 6.6 yards/carry and 88 points –1969

Football—1970 University at Buffalo

• On a full athletic scholarship, led the 1970 Freshman Team to undefeated 4-0 season
• Led team in rushing 681 yards averaging 6.6 yards/carry in four games

Football—1971—1973 Syracuse University

• Transferred to Syracuse on full athletic scholarship after UB dropped football
• Led the 1971 team in kick-off returns—244 yards in 13 carries for 18.7 yards/carry
• 1972—Third leading rusher—275 yards on 68 carries for 4.0 yards/carry
• 1973—Second leading rusher—317 yards on 80 carries for 3.9 yards/carry

Track—1968—1970 Dunkirk High School

• Section VI Champ & Qualified for NYSPHSAA Track Meet in 100 yard dash—1968
• MVP—CCIAC Champ in 100 yard dash
• Section VI, CCIAC Champ & Qualified for NYSPHSAA Track meet in 100 yard & 200 yard dashes
• Broke WNY record in 100 yard dash 9.6 seconds and Dunkirk High School record 100 yard (9.6 )  and 220 yard (21.3) seconds
