Brian Hull was an outstanding cross country and track high school athlete.  In fact, he was  considered one of the top runners in the nation his senior yearHull of high school.  A very confident and dedicated student-athlete, Brian believed that “If I don’t hurt after practice, I didn’t practice hard enough” according to his high school coach, Tom Priester.

He ran cross country and track his freshman, sophomore, and junior years at Cedarville College in Ohio.  An injury prevented Brian from competing in his senior year.  During his college career, he obtained 2 league championships and received NAIA All-American (junior year) in cross country; and 3 league championships and NAIA All-American (sophomore and junior years) in track.  Some of his more noteworthy accomplishments include finishing 5th at         nationals in the 5,000 meter, finishing 4th at nationals in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, setting a school record in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (of which he still holds to this day, 8:55), 5,000 meters, and 10,000 meters.  Additionally, he set several indoor track and field school records.

Brian has spent the past 35 years teaching physical education, 31 of those in Whitney Point, NY.  During his career, Brian has coached football, basketball, track, cross country, baseball, and soccer.  He has also worked at a number of sports camps over the years.

Those who know Brian well have the utmost respect for him describing him as a man of faith, great character, and as someone who has contributed greatly to his community.  Over the years, Brian has been very active in his church serving as both a deacon and teacher and has worked at church camps.
