    • Iroquois won its second Class A Title in 3 years 53-20 over Sweet Home.
    • Lackawanna improved its championship record to 8-1 (only loss is to Springville in 1985) by defeating Maryvale 20-14.
    • Falconer Upset Silver Creek 8-7 to win the Class C Title.
    • Cattaraugus / Little Valley Defeated Maple Grove 26-22 to win the Class D Title.

    • Maple Grove lost for the sixth consecutive time in the Championship game.
    • Lackawanna won for the eighth consecutive time.
    • Matt Crandall Catt / LV Jr. RB ruses for 383 yds and 2 TD's in the Timberwolves win over Maple Grove. Crandall broke the Playoff rushing record which was formerly held by Curt Jones of Falconer who rushed for 304 yds in 2004.
    • Wyatt Mariacher Iroquois Jr. QB passed for 3 TD's and returned an intercepted pass for a TD in the Chiefs win over Sweet Home.

    • Section V Leads the series 38-24 for the past three years. Section V has recorded a 12-3 record.
    • Kyle Shevlin Iroquois Sr. QB/K/DB Broke his leg in the first few minutes of play.
    • Matt Crandall, Cattaraugus / Little Valley, Jr. RB/LB has rushed for 1871 yds, scored 21 TD's, kicked 16 pats and 3 field goals to score 151 pts.
    • Joe Crandall, Cattaruagus/ Little Valley Asst. Coach was Head Coach in 1987 when Cattaraugus won the Sectional title, Joe is the Father of star RB/LB Matt Crandall.

    Summary

    Quakers have won 6th consecutive games since opening loss to North Tonawanda. In championship game for sixth consecutive year winning. 2001, 2004 & 2005.  Defense is strong point led by Greg Michael and Joe Leavell. Offense led by QB Mike Leavell, RB Justin Roeder and Jeff Tundo.   Injury to Tundo in playoff will hurt Quakers if Soph is not able to Play.

    Red Devils are surprise team but played OP tough early in season and could produce upsetif they can avoid turnovers and move the ball against the Quackers. K George Eldoyarld is 25 for 25 on pts.  Will need to have good games from Srs. Mike Poss, John Syty and Nike Borgosz.

A game.  RB Allen Douglas, Marcus Johnson, Ian Goree and Eric Lawrence make the Panthers go while Korey Balcerak and nick Christman anchor the defence.  Game could be decided by a field goal by Chiefs Shevlin or Panther Michael Lewandus.

Capone Smith can run and throw and has excellent targets of Marcus Rivers and Frank Rozwood.  Line is strength anchored by Jr. Joe Webb and Sr. Abdulla Haqi.

    Flyers are  a team of Blue Collar kids who have wonderful chemistry and have won 5 straight Defense led by Soph Jake Heisler, Jeremy Mountain, Wr Matt Mohr, K Josh Richbart and Jim Litz.
