    • Walsh with an enrollment of 82 is playing Elmira Southside with an enrollment of 1200. Whoever scheduled this mismatch should be relieved of scheduling duties.

    • Parker Field in Ken-Ton was re-dedicated to long-time Kenmore East coach Dick "Sparky" Adams in halftime ceremonies at the Kenmore East / Williamsville.

    • Reggie Garner Cardinal O'Hara Sr. RB has rushes for 3401 yards and scored 62 touchdowns in his career.
    • Southwestern won its 11th straight over rival Falconer and holds the series lead 39-34-9.
    • Jim Gaines - Williamsville North 6'3" 190 lbs. Sophmore RB/DA was hurt in the first quarter against Jamestown.
    • Jon Corto - Former ALL-WNY and ALL State at Orchard Park made the Buffalo Bills Practice Squad.
    • Nick Harding former Lackawanna Star LB was a member of the Appalachian State Team which upset Michigan.
    • Andre Coleman Former Burgard ALL-WNY who played for Albany University was one of the last cut by the San Diego Chargers. He was placed on the Practice Squad.

    • Gene Tundo - Orchard Park Head Coach will try to win his 100th game when the Quakers play Lockport Saturday.

    • Bert Smith and Deshawn Hough did not play for Amherst against Lake Shore
    • Frewsburg and Sherman will play Monday Sept. 10th
    • Eden & Olean JV will conclude their game on Monday Sept. 10th with the Huskies leading 32 - 6
    • Gary Mannell - Albion JV Head Coach recorded his 192nd win in the Purple Eagles win over Kenmore East
    • Gene Tundo - Orchard Park Head Coach recorded his 100th win in the Quakers victory over Lockport

    • Starpoint celebrated their 15th Anniversary of playing football on Saturday.

    • Mike Bartoszek - JFK RB rushed for 157 yds and socored 5 TD's in the Bears win over Silver Creek

    • Arvin Bell - McKinley Sr RB rushed for 200 yds and 4 TD's in the Macks win over Burgard

    • Korey Ressler - Alden DL forced 3 funbles made 22 tackles, blocked a pund and recovered it in the endzone for a TD and the winning margin in the Bulldogs win over the Griffiths

    • Brandon Murie - Iroquois Jr RB rushed for 175 yds and scored 2  TD's and averaged 13 yds per carry in the Chiefs win over Lake Shore

    • Brandon Nuessle - Orchard Park Jr RB/ LB rushes for 116 yds, 2 TD's and recorded 7 tackles in the  Quakers in over Jamestown

    • Keith Stoerr -  Lancaster Kicked an extra point to tie the game and booted a 31 yd Field Goal in the Redskins win over the Indians
