• Parker Field in Ken-Ton was re-dedicated to long-time Kenmore East coach Dick "Sparky" Adams in halftime ceremonies at the Kenmore East / Williamsville.
• With Maryvale's win over Cleveland Hill the rivalry is all even with seventeen wins apiece.
• Angelo Gordon tranferred from St. Francis to Bennett.

• Mark Layer - Clarence JV Head Coach won his 100th game with the Red Devils defeat over Grand Island 44-14.
• 14 of the 22 starters for Cassadaga Valley were Sophmores in their win over Allegany Limestone.
• Tough schedule Randolph with Portville and Maple Grove first two games.
• Reggie Garner Cardinal O'Hara Sr. RB has rushes for 3401 yards and scored 62 touchdowns in his career.
• Southwestern won its 11th straight over rival Falconer and holds the series lead 39-34-9.
• Jim Gaines - Williamsville North 6'3" 190 lbs. Sophmore RB/DA was hurt in the first quarter against Jamestown.
• Jon Corto - Former ALL-WNY and ALL State at Orchard Park made the Buffalo Bills Practice Squad.
• Nick Harding former Lackawanna Star LB was a member of the Appalachian State Team which upset Michigan.
• Andre Coleman Former Burgard ALL-WNY who played for Albany University was one of the last cut by the San Diego Chargers. He was placed on the Practice Squad.
• Best Modified Coach: PJ Cauley - Hamburg
• Zak Kedrow former ALL-WNY and ALL-State player at St. Francis has enrolled at Kentucky Weslyean.
• Excellent JV Player - Paul Rubino - Canisius.

• Top Punters: Alex Abramo - Lake Shore & CJ Reiford - Frontier
• McKinley had 4 first downs against St. Joseph's while the Marauders had 8 first downs.
• Impact injuries: Austin Spicer - Falconer & James Gaines - Williamsville North.
• Gene Tundo - Orchard Park Head Coach will try to win his 100th game when the Quakers play Lockport Saturday.
• Top Hockey Coach: Steve "Porky" Ferrentino - Cheektowaga.
• Harvard Cup won 2 games Bennett & McKinley in matchups with Msgr. Martin Assc. teams while Canisius Timon/ St. Jude, and Cardinal O'Hara won from Msgr. Martin.

• Dick Diminuco - Albion Head Coach earned his 196th victory with the Purple Eagles win over Williamsville East.

• Darnel Hernandez - Dunkirk Sr. RB injured his ankle the 2nd play of the games against Cardinal O'Hara

• Gene Tundo - Orchard Park Head Coach recorded his 100th win in the Quakers victory over Lockport

• Starpoint celebrated their 15th Anniversary of playing football on Saturday.
• Jehuu Caulerick - Clymer was selected Big Ten Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week
• Williamsville South JV won their second consecutive game with a 24 - 6 victory over Lew-Port
• Cardinal O'Hara shut out its opponents in a 23 consecutive quarters until Dunkirk scored in the 4th quarter
• Lackawanna rushed for 409 yds against Akron
• WKBW has a WNY High School Football Segment on Saturday Nights after the College Football Game
