On May 11, 2026 qualifiers from each of the Section VI golf leagues, ECIC, CCAA, NFL, N/O and Buffalo Public Schools, will gather at Shelridge Country Club to compete for both the individual and team Sectional Championships. Play starts at 9 am.
After the first 18 holes, the field will be cut to the top 20 and ties, who will then play an additional 9 holes of stroke play with the champion being declared upon completion of 27 holes of golf. The Sectional Team Champion will be determined by the lowest 4 of 5 individual scores after the first 18 holes are completed by teams competing in the Team Championship.
This tournament also acts as the state qualifier where the top 9 players from the Section VI Boys Golf Championship will represent the Section in the NYSPHSAA Boys Golf Championship being held at Mill Creek Golf Club in Rochester, NY June 6-8, 2026.
